What You Should Know About Dubai Architectural Styles

Unlike anything else that had been around before, modern day architecture has not been an evolution of the past. Modern architecture is instead an appraisal of modern architectural design, and not the revolution that classical architecture was. Often, New York designers and Dubai designers design modern buildings that retain the openness and the cleanliness of classical architecture, in addition to incorporating the latest in modern materials and techniques. What is more, a good designer will create buildings that complement their surroundings, while at the same time making them stand out from the crowd. This article examines the work of both New York and Dubai designers and how they apply different techniques and materials.

The New York designers are very famous for their use of glass and light. They often employ an innovative combination of materials such as glass, marble, iron and aluminium, all of which are combined to produce unique buildings that blend with their surroundings, rather than stand out from them. Dubai architects also use a lot of glass, and glass that has been cut and polished to achieve unusual effects.

In New York, glass is used for walls, while in Dubai, it is used for roofs. While this might appear contradictory, it actually works out very well. For instance, in New York, many buildings feature glass that extends outward from their edges, whereas in Dubai, they are incorporated into the walls of these buildings. Glass is also often used for roofs, as it allows the wind to pass through the roof, without becoming a problem.

When looking at the designs in the Gulf region, it's easy to assume that only the most expensive buildings are constructed in Dubai, but this is far from the case. All over the Middle East, traditional buildings are being replaced with the modern type. In addition, architects are also using modern materials and techniques to make their buildings stand out from the crowd. Some of the most expensive building projects in the region are those which feature glass and steel.

When looking at the architectural styles in Dubai, it is important to remember that not all buildings have to be modern. Often, these buildings are more traditional in appearance, although there have been a number of examples of very contemporary structures. A very popular modern example of this type of building in the city is the Dubai Museum of Islamic Art. There, visitors can see some of the finest examples of Islamic art from around the world. Another example would be the Dubai's new International Finance Centre.

For an example of a traditional building which is being restored, the Qatara Tower is a remarkable structure, which was built by a New York architect in the 1930s. This structure, which was also used as a mosque, was destroyed by the Second World War. Today, it stands tall as an example of traditional architecture in the Middle East, as it has not only survived, but has even flourished. The restoration of the building has been done in order to make it look as beautiful as possible. It has recently been featured in an episode of The View.
